Lehrman on opettanut aikidoa NY Aikikaissa 1970-luvulta lähtien. Lehrmanilla on ollut myös oma dojo New Yorkin Brooklynissä Park Slopessa vuodesta 1976, ja monet hänen alkuperäisistä oppilaistaan tulevat hänen mukanaan Helsinkiin treenaamaan. Lehrman has been teaching Aikido at NY Aikikai since the 1970s. He has also had his own dojo in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York, since 1976, and many of his original students accompany him to Helsinki for training. At the seminar, you may therefore find yourself paired with a highly skilled training partner. Hal Lehrman holds the rank of 7. dan in Aikikai Aikido, with the status of Shihan.
