Finland Aikikai is a nationwide Aikido federation whose activities are defined in its rules. The federation is a member of many national and international sports organisations. The memberships support the development of Aikido in Finland.

Highest decision making power in Finland Aikikai is exercised by federal assembly, which assembles twice a year. The executive committee leads the practical operations and the office and the executive director play a central role in carrying out its decisions. The federational secreatry handles the day-to-day operations.

The federation’s technical- and educational committees support the activities their names refer to. The purpose of the dan-assembly is to select these commitees.
